Camarones En Salsa Roja
Ingredients:
- 1 lb. shrimp, peeled, deveined and cooked
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add the tomato sauce, chicken broth, cumin, oregano, and red pepper flakes. Bring to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes.
- Add the cooked shrimp and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Stir in the cilantro and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot with cooked rice.
